Chronic Pain

RESEARCH: Most pain is caused by ADHESIONS & INFLAMMATION
Adhesions (aka scar tissue) cause muscles to stick to nerves and other muscles.
That causes inflammation, which results in pain and stiffness.

TREATMENT:
ADHESIONS require a precise approach to locate and release these commonly ignored sources of pain.
- This allows chronically glued tissues to once again glide past each other.
- This increases your freedom of movement, and decreases your pain.

LASERS empower the mitochondria ( energy factories in all cells ) to increase production of ATP.
- This decreases inflammation, and speeds healing of chronically damaged tissues.

Our Patients Speak Highly of Dr. Jay:
I had chronic back pain due to scoliosis, and residual pain and numbness after herniated disc repair. Dr. Scampole met the challenges and conquered my pain! I have referred patients and friends to Dr. Jay, and I will continue to do so.

I had suffered from headaches for many years. They have been so bad that at times they required time off from work ( and family ) and being in a dark room taking medication, suffering and trying to recover. Sometimes these headaches lasted for days and occurred several times a month. I had tried medication, Acupuncture, Physical Therapy and Chiropractic care and I would still get headaches. Since my treatments with Dr. Jay I have not experienced a single headache in months! I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop and a headache to pop-up but that has not happened. I am so grateful for Dr. Jay's care and treatment methods and will continue to work with Dr. Jay so they do not return.

I was lucky enough to discover Dr Jay Scampole over a decade ago. I have been seeing him ever since for chronic back, neck and hip pain. I have suffered 9 herniated discs and an operation on L4 & L5. I live in New York but fly down to WPB at every opportunity to receive his excellent care and treatments. I would not be able to do my job as a General Contractor and Artisan Carpenter if it wasn’t for his skill and knowledge. Even though I live in New York, I have not found a Doctor here so well informed, skilled and educated utilizing several approaches to muscular therapy and skeletal/spinal alignments. On my last visit a couple of weeks ago, I went through a series of Dry needling, CIDN. Along with that and his other magical physical therapy techniques Dr. Jay gave me back a mobility and range of motion that I thought I would never experience again. As always I am sent home feeling great with tools/exercises that are targeted to specifically strengthen my weak areas. Lifting and traversing rough terrain is a part of my business.
Thank you Dr. Scampole!
With all sincerity

The question: Why do I need Chiropractic Care, is a very good question.
Perhaps the best way to answer that question is to quote research that states that in the neck alone, facets, or joints in the neck, account for up to 60% of the neck pain you experience. It only makes sense then to ensure the joints are moving. Its simple: when the joints are NOT moving correctly, you have pain.
Gentle Chiropractic Adjustments restart the motion in your joints, and normal motion decreases your pain.
The only question then is, what kind of adjustments are you comfortable having performed on you?

I have been a Chiropractor for over 30 years, so I'm skilled in many techniques of moving the joints. Most people are familiar with the traditional Chiropractic adjustment techniques, if not personally, then from youtube.
But many people are not familiar with the more modern, high tech, gentle forms of Chiropractic Adjusting techniques. I have therefore provided a link to the "iQ Instrument" that I use as a gentle alternative to adjusting joints by hand. This is the only instrument approved for use in hospitals, and I am a Certified Practitioner in its use.
